Sorry guys but some stuff has happened and I don’t see myself reviewing any anime for any time soon. So I shall just declare this blog as dead.
Oh well :S
Sorry to people who may have liked my content, and yes, that means no more GIFs.
Azumanga Daioh is the definition of hit and miss, you either like this series for what it’s worth or you don’t. You could like it a bit, but that’s your choice.
Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (Daily Lives of High school Boys) kept it coming until the very end, and I literally mean until two seconds before the credits rolled.
Well as you may or may not know I am the only writer here and that’s fine, I am not being snobby saying, “pssh, need more.” It was never my plan to get people to write for Korabikka.com but if people want to apply or join in then do so because this offers a more constant and defined flow of reviews, that is:
- More reviews (both in series and number).
- Less chance of breaks in reviews (not relying on one person).
Concerning the number of reviews, I am starting uni around July 30th so depending on how busy I am to comfortably review series I may or may not have to narrow my spectrum for the season following.
Writing reviews for me is a way of improving my writing ability and voicing my opinion, not a chore which I have to do with the attitude of “getting it over with.”
All this said and done I haven’t felt like this was a chore at all so far (and I highly doubt I will), for those of you who may interpret this post in that way.
So if you want to join the team and write some reviews, or know someone who is looking to tell them to apply :D
Info is on the “About” page.
That’s right, you guessed it – I’m back!
Japan was everything I expected and more, but you don’t care about any of that stuff, you’re here for my reviews (or GIFs). Or maybe you have been with me for a while and are enjoying my steady improvements.
Either way I will resume reviewing within the next couple of days.
Stay tuned for more stuff (I will be posting an announcement soon).
I am leaving for the trip now, so I shall be back at some point in May.
Also, the line-up page has been updated.
Nisemonogatari – 11 Review (FINAL)
Nisemonogatari, or rather: what-Araragi-does-in-his-study-break-monogatari, ended in a truly addicting manner. By the end of the episode, I had a huge fat grin on my face due to both the gory fight with Kagenui and the resolution, which, in true Bake/Nisemonogatari style was solved with a battle of words; rather than fists – or should I say a bit of both?
Update: Confirmed via this source: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com.au/news/2012-01-19/nisioisin-anime-project-10th-work-to-be-new-story
It’s just days before I leave to Japan, but I couldn’t resist posting this (and the final Nisemonogatari review). I have no idea if this is true, as the caption says I have yet to confirm this via any kind of source, and I have searched for a bit.
All I can say is, if this does happen I will probably die from excitement. I don’t read LRs or Manga mainly because of my experiences with books and movies so I will have to wait for these to be released, if it is true, and that alone is exciting because I know the wait will be worth it.
I want to deliver the best kind of content I can to you people but I am only one person at the moment. So I have a request which will help me push myself and hopefully deliver content of a much higher standard, as opposed to me developing slower over time.
So, my question is: How would YOU rate my content?
I would like you guys to comment and explain what you don’t like about my posts as well, if you can.
Lastly, you can now request specific GIFs for anime, just head on over here.
The link is also in the sidebar (right hand side).
Alrighty. The time for the Japan trip is upon us (me).
I will not be actively posting reviews until roughly the 27th of April. I will write up some over the next 2-3 days before I leave and schedule those for posting while I am gone but that is as far as I can go.
Why am I stopping days before the trip?
Mainly because of the planning, mainly because I will have to leave this house soon and wait at my other, and also so that I can write those scheduled reviews.
If I have time before I leave I may do the final review of Nisemonogatari otherwise that will be done when I get back.
Until I get back, enjoy everything I have posted so far and I hope to develop this blog into a powerhouse of content!
