Danshi Koukousei No Nichijou – Post-Summary
Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (Daily Lives of High school Boys) kept it coming until the very end, and I literally mean until two seconds before the credits rolled.
This series was funny because of its core and the foundation upon which it was built. This isn’t some old man trying to understand what they thought happened or happens to high school boys, this is what actually occurs. This gives the viewer something to relate to in a more natural sense because all of the little details you cannot explain to someone are present. Like how you find a meme funny and try to explain that to a businessperson, they will never understand because the context is absent – and that is the most important thing.
So in essence, this anime has been a rollercoaster of experiences which we can relate to, both fictional and in some cases fact and for this reason it kept me laughing until the very, very end. A definite must watch for anyone wanting something with a bit more flavor than Azumanga Daioh, and something more relatable than Nichijou.
Verdict: Watch it, high preference.
